2025 Annual Greater Bay Area Conference on Advanced Geotechnical Technologies

2025 Annual Greater Bay Area Conference on Advanced Geotechnical Technologies
Our company was recently invited to the 2025 Annual Greater Bay Area Geotechnical Engineering "Six New" Technologies Conference in December. Gathering with industry peers, we explored the frontiers of "Six New" technologies (new technologies, new materials, new processes, new equipment, new methods, new theories), exchanged practical experiences, and demonstrated our technical strength and industry influence. This participation also provided a valuable opportunity to gain industry insights and deepen cooperation.

As a dedicated innovator in geotechnical engineering, we adhere to the philosophy of "Empowering Projects with Technology, Driving Development through Innovation", focusing on R&D and application of core technologies like soil solidification. We have steadily expanded domestically and internationally—earlier, in April 2025, our leadership led an inspection delegation to the Abu Dhabi 1B Subsea Tunnel Project at the invitation of its stakeholders, advancing our technological globalization.

The Abu Dhabi 1B Subsea Tunnel, a key local transportation project connecting Saadiyat and Umm Yifeena Islands, started in October 2024 and is scheduled for completion by late 2026. It will improve local transport networks and boost regional economic development. Its complex construction requires stable, eco-friendly geotechnical materials, especially for cofferdam and backfilling works, demanding efficient green solutions.

During the inspection, our team, accompanied by the project manager, visited the site, inspected key works, and learned about construction arrangements, geology and hydrological conditions, focusing on backfilling and green construction needs. We highlighted our soil solidification technology’s advantages: in-situ soil reuse, reduced waste and material costs, excellent water stability and durability—effectively addressing backfilling adaptability issues for subsea tunnels.

Both parties discussed the technology’s application scenarios, adaptability and parameter optimization, reaching preliminary consensus on technical testing and potential cooperation. The project team highly recognized our technology’s maturity, eco-friendliness and cost-effectiveness, expecting deeper collaboration to drive its application.
Attending the Greater Bay Area Conference aligns with our Abu Dhabi inspection, dual demonstrations of our technical strength. The Abu Dhabi visit built a bridge for our technological globalization, while the conference provided a platform to grasp industry trends, learn from peers and optimize our soil solidification solutions.

Moving forward, we will leverage these opportunities to increase R&D investment, deepen "Six New" technologies application, and enhance core competitiveness. We will strengthen domestic and international cooperation, tailor solutions for overseas projects, and promote our proprietary technologies globally to contribute to geotechnical engineering development.
